Summer 2020: which jewels will we wear?

Summer 2020: which jewels will we wear?

Shapes, colors, materials: a triumph of panache and fun for the world of accessories and jewelry in the summer of 2020. Many trends: we start with the chain for glasses, a great return, which Stella McCartney proposes cheeky and playful, as a useful and at the same time fashionable jewel-accessory.

Then there are the torque, chains, jewel and very ancient ornament particularly loved for their ancestral dimension: the stylists offer them transparent (like Salvatore Ferragamo), or rich in pearls, gems (Chanel), while the jewel coordinated to make up, as suggested on the catwalk by Valentino and Area, playing on combinations of colors and decorations, to cover the face with precious makeup. Maxi necklaces for Armani, between large plexiglass circles and innovative shapes: these necklaces are accessories, which decorate jackets, shirts and coats, and which we will also find next winter.

Earrings? They are maxi, like the large circles of Prabal Gurung and Halpern, which creates compositions of gems capable of covering the entire lobe.

Summer and sparkling, anklets also return, like those seen in Oscar de la Renta's catwalk. But the great protagonist of the summer is the cameo: traditional or innovative, Neapolitan and colorful, the cameo is the king of the summer, like that of Anna Sui in fresh and lively necklaces, between knits and embroidery.
An unmissable detail to make even the most classic look original.
