In January the third edition of VO Vintage

In January the third edition of VO Vintage

From Saturday 22 to Monday 24 January VO Vintage returns, the event open to the public dedicated to all collectors, enthusiasts and curious of vintage watchmaking and jewellery. The show will open its doors with a refined and distinctive setting in the foyer on the first floor of the Vicenza fair district in an exclusive and reserved setting that will welcome and accompany guests from the moment of choice, to the purchase of antiques up to the moments of meeting and sharing for the benefit of all high-end vintage players.

In January, compared to the September edition, a greater number of exhibitors will be present thanks to the strong expansion of the "Luxury Vintage" sector, due to recent pressures towards sustainable purchases and the ever-increasing role of watches as investment goods. Ela Antichità, Art Decò Bijoux and Montegrandi will be present among the most selected operators in the market specialized in vintage precious and high vintage jewellery, which will contribute to making the event an opportunity to learn about the goldsmith jewellery tradition of the past and to be seduced by the charm of those precious items that have gone down in history as a symbol of their own era but which, at the same time, have remained current for their uniqueness. VO Vintage thus confirms itself as a showcase for selected collections of rare and sought-after vintage jewellery and watches that the most important dealers in the sector will exhibit in a location that guarantees maximum privacy and safety for both exhibitors and visitors.

The rich program of events curated by Michele Mengoli, advisor of VO Vintage, includes among the many expected guests, Stefano Mazzariol, one of the most important Rolex Daytona experts in the world, as well as antique dealer, expert, and watchmaking consultant who will propose an in-depth session on the Newman Master together with Carlo Pergola.

In January there will be training with authoritative Italian and foreign institutions whose participation will be open to all enthusiasts without requiring any technical skills. On Sunday 23 January Prof. Ugo Pancani, of the Geneva institution FHH - Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie will hold two technical sessions to learn about the most fascinating mechanisms of watchmaking: the chronograph, the tourbillon and the perpetual calendar. On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd January, CAPAC courses will take place to learn the basics of mechanical watchmaking and acquire the skills to assemble and disassemble a mechanical movement directly in the classroom.

VO Vintage therefore represents a moment of exchange, meeting, sharing information for all those who gravitate around the world of vintage watchmaking and jewellery and who will have the exclusive opportunity to find unique pieces and experts in the sector in one single place.

Among the partners of VO Vintage: AHCI - Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants, a historic Swiss association dedicated to perpetuating the art of independent watchmaking and the new Forum Watchouse, founded by Jacopo Giudici and Giorgione, key opinion leaders in the sector.
