The project dedicated to Van Gogh and his time consists of a magnificent exhibition and a rich program of collateral events as well as some short docufilms.
A great project never dedicated to Van Gogh in Italy which, as in a novel, combines the artist's great masterpieces on display with the story of life, the discovery of brand new colors and the relationship with some artists who were fundamental for Van Gogh. And then the intersections of destiny, the ineluctable sense of life that flows.
The exhibition is an original journey to learn about some of the plots of Van Gogh's life and work, including the lesser known sides. Conceived and curated by Marco Goldin and promoted by Linea d’ombra and the Municipality of Padua, the exhibition is divided into five sections and seven insights within the sections themselves. 125 works in total, of which over 80 by Van Gogh alone, including paintings and drawings equally divided.
