How do you become an influencer without being on social media? It takes fabric and passion.
This is what the famous fashion editor Lynn Yaeger, a successful author who, without any presence on social media, won the 2019 CFDA Media Award, has been thinking for a long time.

Her unique pen goes hand in hand with a certain critical eye, from a perfect and keen observer who never reports the facts of a fashion show or trends, but tells real stories.

Lynn's clothing is a combination of dresses enriched with voluminous layers of skirts and decorative coats, framed by extravagant hair that makes her the perfect queen of street style, so much so that Marc Jacobs is one of the famous designers who were inspired by her.

Another fundamental characteristic of her look is the many rings she always wears, combined with some vintage and small brooches: "I am as interested in jewelry as I am fashionable", she said.

The fashion editor, speaker at Visio.Next during Vicenzaoro January 2019, in fact, is also well acquainted with the world of antiques and the history of twentieth century jewels, so much so that some of her pieces even ended up in a recent exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of NY .

When did this love for jewelry begin? "I believe in college. I was very interested in vintage clothes from the 1920s. There was this place in Bleecker Street in the 70s or early 80s where I used to go, and that was the first real moment I started to love jewels, in particular antiques ".

"Fashion does not have the same kind of value - she tells The Adventurine - You can sell the jewels and you will get money, not like clothes. I think all jewels have a strong emotional component. I come from the world of ancient jewelry, but I am not interested in stones as much as in design ".
