Vicenzaoro January: 30 Hours of Events Over Four Days

Vicenzaoro January, the renowned jewellery exhibition, kicks off with a focus on younger generations and future trends for the industry. From January 17 to 21, the event will host over 30 hours of talks and discussions with experts, companies, and professionals, addressing key topics such as sustainability, inclusivity, and design trends.

The event begins with an initiative targeting Generation Z, engaging hundreds of young people to showcase the opportunities offered by the jewellery world. The VIOFF, Vicenzaoro’s off-show programme, in partnership with Skuola.net, fosters direct engagement with local schools.

A Packed Schedule of Events With 21 events in four days, Vicenzaoro reaffirms its role as a key hub for training and knowledge sharing within the industry. Key highlights include: Friday, January 17: The Club degli Orafi Italia and Intesa Sanpaolo present a report on the jewellery industry, featuring updated data and future projections, with a focus on how generational shifts impact business strategies. Saturday, January 18: The “Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting” event explores design trends and future prospects, featuring prominent speakers such as Amanda Triossi and Richard Wu. Concurrently, sustainability takes centre stage with discussions on certifications and B-Corps in precious metals. Sunday, January 19: The Jewellery Technology Forum gathers experts and innovators in the industry, followed by the Progold3d® Design Contest 2025 awards ceremony. Monday, January 20: The final day features "Gem Talks," focusing on the allure of amber, and concludes with sociologist Francesco Morace's insights on the three future paradigms: uniqueness, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Looking Ahead to the Future Market In addition to activities aimed at young people, Vicenzaoro addresses geopolitical changes and global market challenges, with discussions on the internationalisation of Italian jewellery businesses. Notable speakers include Licia Mattioli, founder of Exclusive Brands Torino, and Mahiar Borhanjoo from the De Beers Group.

Technology and Innovation

Digitalisation takes the spotlight with events such as “Blockchain and Love,” where Unoaerre will demonstrate how blockchain technology ensures transparency and authenticity for wedding rings.

Vicenzaoro January 2025 promises to be an unmissable opportunity to explore trends, connect with industry leaders, and understand the transformations shaping the future of jewellery.
