Fope's Tribute to Milan

Milan and Fope: a connection strengthened and celebrated with elegance. The high jewellery brand, long a symbol of tradition and innovation, pays tribute to the city with two special initiatives.
The opening of its first showroom in the historic heart of Milan, at Palazzo Borromeo, and the launch of the Montedoria collection, inspired by the iconic Milanese building designed by Maestro Gio Ponti. The new showroom, a refined space suspended between two frescoed courtyards, is a perfect fusion of contemporary style and history, designed by the Vicenza-based ASA Studio Albanese. Its minimalist, elegant architecture reflects the fine jewellery on display. Stealing the spotlight is the Montedoria collection, launched to coincide with the opening of the showroom, as a tribute to the building’s strict geometry and grandeur.
Designed by Ponti, the building is renowned for its striking green ceramic cladding that stands out in the urban landscape. The jewellery, true works of art, reinterpret its architecture with a delicate yet strong Novecento gold mesh that embraces geometric elements in black gold, enriched with diamonds and emeralds. The green, a constant in the brand’s DNA, returns in this collection as a homage to the symbolic green of the Basilica Palladiana in Vicenza.
Two lines are featured: Navette and Quadra. Navette includes a necklace and bracelet with a large marquise-cut emerald at the center of a geometric element, surrounded by four strands of Novecento mesh, interspersed with pavé diamonds and emeralds on black gold, with a distinctive matte finish.
Quadra, on the other hand, features a necklace, bracelet, and earrings that evoke square shapes and the symbolism of the number two, celebrating symmetry in the Novecento mesh strands and the rondelles of pavé diamonds and emeralds, which harmoniously connect the elements.
