Pomellato in Geneva: a new address for sustainable luxury

Geneva, Rue du Rhône 40. The historic Milanese maison opens its first directly managed boutique in Switzerland here, in a space destined to become a reference in the sustainable luxury retail sector.
The boutique is set to be the first Pomellato store certified LEED Platinum, marking a milestone in the Maison's commitment to environmental responsibility. The atmosphere is unmistakably Pomellato: intimate, enveloping, built on details that speak an iconic language. At the center, a custom Murano glass chandelier created exclusively for the boutique by the Milanese brand 6:AM. The Montenapoleone red, the Maison’s signature color, interacts with delicate pink shades. The materials are emblematic. Portuguese pink marble frames the windows and entrance door, while Perlino pink alternates with red travertine in a checkerboard floor pattern that recalls the solemnity of Italian architecture. The walls are covered in hand-crafted pink stucco, lacquered surfaces, and golden brass details complete the space.
The Milanese design of the '60s and '70s is reflected in the rounded shapes, softness, and culminates in the Private Salon, where comfortable seating and a table designed by Willy Rizzo transform the boutique into a living room.
“The opening of our first directly managed boutique in Switzerland is a crucial moment,” said Sabina Belli, CEO of Pomellato. “Geneva, with its cosmopolitan spirit and deep craftsmanship culture, is the perfect setting for our Maison. Here we bring our vision of sustainable luxury, as well as the bold creativity and unconventional elegance of Milan.”
