Tiffany & Co. unveils its largest European flagship in Milan

This past April, Tiffany & Co. opened the doors to its new European flagship in Milan, nestled within the storied Palazzo Taverna, a neoclassical gem dating back to 1835, located on the prestigious Via Monte Napoleone.
Spanning more than 1,200 square meters, the boutique now stands as the largest Tiffany & Co. store in Europe. Designed by renowned architect Peter Marino and inspired by the iconic New York Landmark, it is conceived as a veritable cultural hub, a convergence of fine jewelry, art, and hospitality.
“A destination defined by luxury and discovery, our new store on Via Montenapoleone offers Milan a fresh perspective on the marvels of Tiffany & Co.,” commented Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of the maison. “Home to the world’s most extensive selection of creations from the Tiffany Archives, it celebrates nearly two centuries of our heritage and the enduring dialogue with Italian creativity.” The interiors are imbued with a rarefied atmosphere from the moment one enters. Greeting guests at the entrance is Color and Light by Michelangelo Pistoletto, set against marble walls in soft beige and rose hues. As visitors move through the space, they encounter works by Pablo Picasso, Urs Fischer, Daniel Arsham, and Julian Schnabel, establishing a continuous interplay between art and high jewellery.
Among the most emblematic areas is Whodunnit, a showcase paying tribute to the grand salon of the New York Landmark; a gallery devoted to Elsa Peretti’s timeless designs; and the High Jewelry section, where the house’s most precious creations are displayed in satin-glass vitrines. In the private suite, Urs Fischer’s Tiffanies & Tiffany offers a contemplative homage to the relationship between female creativity and haute joaillerie. At the heart of the boutique rises a sculptural glass staircase, designed by Marino and engineered by Hugh Dutton, crowned by a skylight evocative of a diamond’s inner brilliance. The luminous internal courtyard hosts both a refined bar area and Stratified Venus of Arles, a striking sculpture by Daniel Arsham.
On the first floor, clients will find the Home & Accessories collections, alongside personalization services and customer care. The second floor is entirely devoted to love, with the All About Love rooms featuring the iconic Tiffany Setting engagement ring. The top floor houses two exclusive private salons as well as a curated display of diamond jewelry and timepieces.
Throughout the store, archival pieces pay tribute to the maison’s near-bicentennial legacy and its enduring bond with Italian culture and craftsmanship.
