#VO1950s
“Diamonds are a girl's best friend,” sang the iconic Marilyn Monroe. After World War II, the “economic miracle” gave rise to a strong desire for luxury and extravagance. The 1950s jewellery expressed joy and optimism towards a promising future. Opulence and the desire for creativity inspired the jewelers of the time: female empowerment was increasingly expressed through jewellery.
#VO1960s
The 1960s were a time of great cultural revolutions. These are the years of Pop, Rock, miniskirts. Jewellery expressed these revolutions and the spirit of the time, becoming a symbol of freedom and transgression. Space for colour, maxi jewellery, exuberance, and versatility for the modern, career-driven, and increasingly emancipated woman.
#VO1970s
In the 1970s, elegance and geometric shapes stood out in jewels with an allure of great refinement. Color was still the protagonist, particularly through the use of enamel. Male and female style increasingly merged, meeting the contemporary concept of gender fluid. This is the decade in which the concept of body jewellery developed.
#VO1980s
Do you remember Madonna singing covered in diamonds in her 1985 single “Material World”? The 80s were characterized by flashy, oversized jewels, made with a variety of materials and shapes, inspired by the plant, animal world and not only.
#VO1990s
In the 90s, jewellery was an essential element to express one’s style and give color to a more minimal fashion. Chockers, dangling and hoop earrings, bangle bracelets and hair jewellery thus became the absolute protagonists.
#VO2000s
The doors of the new millennium are opening wide. A millennium that will see the world move increasingly towards globalisation, with fashion and jewellery absorbing more and more stimuli from different cultures, even distant ones. This is the moment of the introduction of new technologie.
#VO2010s2020s
Jewellery is increasingly innovating, reflecting changes in the world of fashion. It becomes a symbol of joie de vivre, hope and the desire to fly far beyond the confines of everyday life. These are the years that lead young people to reflect on their own identity and to rediscover the tradition of the past.

#VOBLUE
Colors have always been among the most powerful expressive tools of art. Blue, in particular, has always been a symbol of royalty, but also of freedom and infinity. Already in ancient Egypt, it was used in jewellery as a reference to the sky. From the lightest to the darkest shades, blue is the trending color in contemporary jewellery.
#VOMAXIPENDANTS
Contemporary jewellery increasingly expresses its creativity by creating maxi-pendants, which frame the face and enhance the person and his character. The maxi-pendant was already widespread in the Renaissance era and today it is interpreted in a new key, with stones of various colors or diamonds and different geometries.
#VOFLUIDITY
Jewellery today is fluid, not tied to rigid and preset patterns as usually happened in the past. Beyond any aesthetic code and gender, jewellery is an expression of the freest creativity of artists and enthusiasts in the name of innovation.
