This past September 13th, Vhernier, the renowned luxury jewellery Maison, announced a significant reorganization of its top management following its acquisition by Richemont, one of the world’s leading luxury groups.
In an official statement, it was confirmed that Gianluca Brozzetti, Executive Vice President of Buccellati, will join the Board of Directors of Vhernier as Executive Vice President and will temporarily take on the role of Chief Executive Officer. This appointment represents a strategic move for the Maison, aimed at strengthening its position in the global luxury jewellery market.
The Traglio family, who acquired Vhernier in 2001, will remain involved in the company’s future, retaining key leadership roles. Maurizio Traglio, who has served as CEO, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Carlo Traglio, current President of Vhernier S.p.A., will become President of Vhernier USA LLC. Isabella Traglio, in her role as Head of Design and Research & Development, will continue to lead the Maison’s creative direction. All changes are already in effect.
Nicolas Bos, CEO of Richemont, expressed his enthusiasm for the new collaboration:
"I have admired Vhernier ever since it was co-founded by Angela Camurati. Richemont holds deep respect for the extraordinary work carried out by the Traglio family, who have positioned Vhernier as a unique and innovative Maison in the international jewellery world. We are excited to collaborate with Maurizio, Carlo, and Isabella to drive Vhernier’s future growth."
Maurizio Traglio emphasized the importance of Vhernier’s entry into Richemont’s portfolio, stating:
"We are delighted that Vhernier is joining the family of Richemont’s prestigious jewellery Maisons. We firmly believe that our distinctive creative style and artisanal quality, combined with Richemont’s managerial excellence, will allow us to consolidate our position as international leaders."
Gianluca Brozzetti also expressed strong confidence in the Maison’s future:
"Vhernier has long been admired for the unique, contemporary, and essential design of its creations. In the coming years, we will focus on consolidating its success and expanding its boutique network, enhancing the Made in Italy craftsmanship that sets us apart."
