The newly elected national president of Federorafi, Claudia Piaserico, during the elective assembly of the members of the Jewellery Group of Confindustria Alessandria, outlined the Federation’s projects and guidelines, ranging from internationalization to training, sustainability, and communication.
Francesco Barberis, outgoing President of the Group, highlighted some issues that the Valenza district will have to face, including the preservation of craftsmanship characterized by executive finesse, a highly attractive element for major luxury brands; the need to recruit new labor, with a particular focus on emerging professional roles; and finally, the culture and tradition of jewelry, two factors to be leveraged for greater appreciation and recognition of Made in Valenza jewelry on an international scale.
The former president also expressed satisfaction with the relationship built with the membership base over his 10-year career—first as head of AOV, and later of the Jewellery Group of Confindustria Alessandria.
On the same occasion, the Executive Board for the 2022–2024 term was also appointed:
Alessia Crivelli as President, Paola Bicciato (Big Bag), Valentina Callegher (Callegher Gioielli), Rocco Gay (Petramundi), Tancredi Pizzo (Leo Pizzo), Francesco Barberis (Carlo Barberis), Paolo Re (Re Carlo), and Giovanni Bonzano (Fratelli Moraglione).
