In the historic center of Vicenza, in a sixteenth-century palace, the Stamperia d'arte Busato has been based for more than 70 years. It was founded by Ottorino Busato in October 1946, when he decided to start his own Lithography and Chalcography business, after an important experience gained by working since 1924 in the most important printing houses in the Veneto region. In the mid-1960s, the Stamperia's most flourishing season began, with such prominent interlocutors as Neri Pozza and Tono Zancanaro, with whom Giuliano, succeeding his father, developed a deep sense of the relationship between artist and printer.
