After years of success on Asiago's Uplands, restaurateur Filippo De Giovanni, together with his wife, Francesca Dellai and sister-in-law, Maddalena Cioci, came back to Vicenza and opened Olio & Burro in Pianezze Del Lago, just a few minutes from beautiful Fimon Lake. The restaurant's name pays homage to areas much-loved by the owners: the oil from the Berici Hills and the butter from the Asiago Uplands. The atmosphere is modern and well kept with large, solid wooden tables at the entrance creating a homely feel. The menu follows the territorial seasons and is linked to Veneto traditions, with a careful eye on re-interpretations. In summer, you can enjoy a meal on the terrace with its breath-taking view over the Berici Hills.
