Salvatore Collaro: between corals, pearls, and diamonds

Salvatore Collaro: between corals, pearls, and diamonds

Nomen omen, as the saying goes—and indeed, the Collaro family, whose name contains an anagram of their favorite material, coral, boasts over 60 years of experience in the jewellery sector, combining tradition and innovation to create exclusive pieces.

The undisputed protagonists of the brand’s creations are coral and pearls, carefully selected and lovingly crafted into one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
Salvatore Collaro has long been a central figure in the Italian history of coral over the past 50 years: his life has evolved along this path until merging with it completely, as if the family’s destiny had been written in its very name.

The company, with its workshops based in Torre del Greco, has grown steadily since its beginnings in the optimistic 1960s, reaching milestones and dimensions that continue to expand to this day.
Alongside coral craftsmanship, Salvatore has passionately followed the ever-evolving pearl market—from the most prestigious Australian pearls to Chinese, Japanese, and Tahitian ones. His love for pearls has taken him to the Far East for extended periods, where, with great care, he selected the pearls that now make up a fundamental commercial pillar of the company.

Built on the brand’s solid foundation of experience are new creative visions in pursuit of originality, resulting in a unique blend of elegance, romance, and absolute charm.
This is evident in the latest collections, featuring rose gold rings, brilliants, and living coral drops, irresistible earrings, and necklaces where coral and diamonds take center stage.
