Boucheron: from Place Vendôme to Abu Dhabi

Galleria Mall, Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island: this is the address of Boucheron’s new boutique, inaugurated on October 16 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Spanning over 204 square meters in a prime location within a shopping center renowned for offering an exclusive retail experience, the space draws inspiration from the Parisian architecture of the Maison’s historic Place Vendôme address, where in 1893 Frédéric Boucheron became the first of the great jewellers to open a boutique at number 26. The boutique’s façade immediately captures attention, with glass prisms in Boucheron’s iconic green creating a captivating mirror effect. Inside, subtle nods to nature – a theme dear to the Maison – are expressed through wallpaper inspired by the ancient Chinese floral motifs of Atelier d’Offard, a distinguished French atelier that blends traditional eighteenth-century techniques with modern processes. From vintage furniture to contemporary artworks, each element has been selected with the same care devoted to designing a home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. The boutique also features an exclusive creation commissioned from Emirati artist Yasmin Al Mulla: a work that serves as a bridge between the rich cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates and the world of Boucheron.
