Vicenzaoro January 2025: The Future of Jewellery Between Made in Italy and Innovation

Organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the show launches the global calendar of the jewellery industry with five days of business, trends, education, and networking. Running alongside it are T.Gold, the international trade show for goldsmithing technologies, and the sixth edition of VO Vintage, the marketplace for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage watches and jewellery, open to the public until Monday, 20 January.
Opening Ceremony with a Focus on Made in Italy
The opening ceremony, scheduled for 12:00 pm at the Teatro Palladio, will focus on protecting Made in Italy. Key institutional figures, including Deputy Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy Valentino Valentini, Veneto Region President Luca Zaia, and ICE Agency President Matteo Zoppas, will join representatives from the industry and local authorities.
Jewellery Sector Growth: +5.8% in the First 10 Months of 2024
According to ISTAT data processed by Mediobanca, the jewellery sector recorded a 5.8% revenue increase in the first ten months of 2024, with exports driving the growth (+7.2%) compared to the domestic market (+3%). Forecasts for 2025 suggest stable growth, with 47.5% of companies expecting steady business volumes.
Vicenzaoro: A Global Platform
Thanks to the support of ICE Agency, Vicenzaoro will host 515 international buyers from 72 countries, with the total number of represented nations expected to reach around 130. The show remains a key meeting point for the global supply chain, featuring exhibitors from leading countries such as Turkey, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, and Germany, alongside Italian excellence from districts including Vicenza, Arezzo, Valenza, and Torre del Greco.
Innovation and the Next Generation
After more than 70 years of goldsmithing exhibitions, Vicenzaoro looks to the future with the construction of a new pavilion, set to open in 2026. The event also focuses on generational change, hosting a meeting with 500 high school students and key industry figures in collaboration with Skuola.net and VIOFF, the off-show organised with the Municipality of Vicenza.
Event Highlights: From the Jewelry Technology Forum to VO Vintage
Among the must-see events is the Jewelry Technology Forum, taking place on Sunday, 19 January, and dedicated to the most innovative technologies in the sector. Simultaneously, the sixth edition of VO Vintage will offer a public marketplace where collectors and enthusiasts can purchase or admire unique vintage jewellery and timepieces.
A Network of Excellence in the Industry
Vicenzaoro is supported by institutional partners and industry associations, including the Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato Orafi, Confcommercio Federpreziosi, CNA Orafi, and Assocoral. On the international front, the show collaborates with CIBJO – The World Jewellery Confederation, which promotes sustainability across the jewellery supply chain.
