A bar that isn’t a bar. Here, at the counter, you don’t order drinks, you choose and compose charm jewellery. This is what’s happening at Via Torino 25, where Kidult, the brand by Mabina S.p.A., has just opened the first Kidult Bar: a retail space entirely reimagined to offer a shopping experience that is immersive, personal, and refreshingly unconventional. The setting blends the refined warmth of French boiserie with a surprising twist: a jewellery display that flows on a conveyor belt, inspired by Japanese sushi bars.
Pieces glide past like tasting plates: irresistible, tempting, and designed to spark curiosity. Sales associates become bartenders, ready to serve up the perfect jewel. The aim? To offer creative styling consultations in line with the spirit of the By You collection, the Kidult’s modular line that invites customers to build their own necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and anklets, enhanced with a rich variety of charms. “I’m particularly proud of this new and truly innovative retail format, which showcases the breadth and uniqueness of our modular collection,” said Francesco Songa, CEO and Creative Director of Mabina S.p.A. “Our hope is for this to become the first in a new generation of experiential stores, and a city landmark.”
To celebrate the debut of the Kidult Bar, the brand is hosting a week-long calendar of community-driven events. From June 30 to July 4, the opening days offer guests inspiration and one-on-one advice sessions, from astrology to color analysis, travel coaching to personal rebranding, guided by authoritative voices from the digital world. Popular social media creators will even step behind the bar as guest co-bartenders, sharing their personal style tips and making each visit to the store feel like a truly unique experience.
