Light, paper, jewellery: Recarlo’s craftsmanship at Milan Design Week 2026

Light, paper, jewellery: Recarlo’s craftsmanship at Milan Design Week 2026

The Recarlo boutique on via San Pietro all’Orto was among the active spaces of Milan Design Week 2026 with “The Rhythm of the Light,” an event dedicated to the relationship between light, movement, and contemporaneity. The installation transformed the space into an immersive environment, where visual and sound components created a coherent journey around the brand’s jewellery. The window display was designed as a narrative device, aiming to amplify the relationship between object, space, and observer in a continuous and dynamic reading. During the week, the boutique also presented a contribution by paper artist Mauro Seresini, developed for the More collection. The installation introduced a paper structure that traverses the window with a wavy flow, articulated in folds and chromatic layers inspired by the semi-precious gemstones of the collection. Mauro Seresini is one of the most recognized talents on the contemporary Milanese scene. As a paper artist and designer, he builds his own language through unconventional art, where manual skill, formal research, and paper engineering converge. Paper becomes an expressive and structural material, capable of taking on a narrative function and defining the scene of the space.
