Piaget launches the final chapter of its chromatic trilogy

Piaget unveils the final chapter of its High Jewellery trilogy, Colours of Extraleganza. Completing the narrative begun with Essence of Extraleganza, presented in 2024 for the Maison’s 150th anniversary, and continued with Shapes of Extraleganza in 2025, this latest collection brings the story to a vivid close, inspired by the creative and cultural effervescence of the 1960s and 1970s.
It was in 1957 that the Maison first opened the door to colour with the invention of the legendary ultra-thin 9P calibre, which made it possible to create dials set with ornamental stones in a wide spectrum of tones. “Colour is an integral part of Piaget’s history and heritage,” says Stéphanie Sivrière, Creative Director of the Maison. “With Colours of Extraleganza, we explored a new dimension of colour, in perfect harmony with Piaget’s aesthetic codes: extravagance and elegance.”
Created within the Maison’s Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire, the 65 pieces reveal the brand’s mastery in the art of complex, virtuosic combinations, where gold acts as a unifying thread across a series of parures animated by gemstones including diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, opal, tiger’s eye and mother-of-pearl.
