Tiffany & Co.’s new Milan address in the Galleria

Tiffany & Co.’s new Milan address in the Galleria

Milan has a new luxury destination: on February 2, Tiffany & Co. announced the opening of a boutique in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, choosing the city’s historic arcade for a particularly ambitious project. The aim is to move beyond the traditional retail format and offer an immersive, emotional journey where craftsmanship, art, and heritage come together.

Inspired by The Landmark on Fifth Avenue, the space spans two floors plus a mezzanine.

The façade reprises the Galleria’s signature arched windows and stonework, while the window displays pay tribute to Michelangelo Pistoletto. Inside, the Icons collections (HardWear, Lock, T, and Knot) introduce an exhibition path developed in collaboration with Studio Piva. A ceramic installation by artist Peter Lane stands out: its blue hues reference the house’s most recognizable symbols, including the Blue Box and the Bird on a Rock motif. There are multiple scenographic elements throughout. Looking up, visitors encounter a dramatic ceiling designed by Hugh Dutton & Associés, inspired by the Tokyo Parliament building and culminating in four rare Tiffany Studios mosaic panels. Originally commissioned for Marshall Field & Company in Chicago in 1914 and integrated into the skylight, they depict zodiac signs in Favrile glass in tones of purple, green, blue, and brown. Jewelry is displayed in cases lined with metallic textiles, silver-toned niches, and custom cast-glass inserts made by Venini. An entire gallery is dedicated to Elsa Peretti, featuring works by Pistoletto and a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces created specifically for this location, presented on furnishings inspired by Gio Ponti. The mezzanine houses high jewelry and additional archive pieces; on the second floor are the watch area, a private salon, and the All About Love space, conceived around the Tiffany Setting with light interiors and a more intimate atmosphere. An opening that uses Milan and Italian design culture as a setting, and the Tiffany archive as the signature.
